This is MONTE's second release of 2024! Singer and guitarist, Caitlin Montclare wrote the song after going through a pretty rough break up.
Most songs, especially our favorites, come from a place of darkness, deep introspection, self awareness and pain. The song’s themes mostly focus on gaslighting and being made to feel dysfunctional, or defective in a relationship, and unfortunately not spotting or paying attention to the red flags in the beginning.
